We've long been wondering what to make of Sony Pictures Animation's The Star (formerly The Lamb). Was it going to be a deep, adult-oriented profound take on the nativity story; or rather a more child-friendly, regular CGI animal-talking film. Well, wonder no more, as the answer is just below (via USA Today).
So it seems it's the latter. Tough Luck.
The film is directed by Timothy Reckart and has a star-studded (no pun intended) voice cast, but you already know that because the trailer took great care of showing that. Twice.
The Star will open on 10 November in the US and 24 of the same month in the UK.
