The great Disney animator Eric Goldberg (responsible for the Genie, co-director of Pocahontas) has been tasked to direct the couch gag for an upcoming episode of The Simpsons. The gag is a nice journey back in time to the early days of the Walt Disney animated films. Watch the clip after the break.
It's fun to see the different styles of the hand-drawn Disney classics come back to life, and to see them revisited with a Simpsons' twist; since the Walt Disney Animated Studios won't make another hand-drawn feature film, we'll take this Eric Goldberg couch gag as the next best thing.
